Organised by the Bedford Regatta Committee under British Rowing's Rules of Racing
and Guide to Safe Practice in Rowing over a course of 1,200 metres on the River Great Ouse from County Bridge to the Suspension Bridge

Spectators

Spectators can view racing while enjoying the atmosphere of the tented enclosure which is situated next to the Suspension Bridge.   Offering spectators the chance to socialise with competitors and supporters alike the Regatta commentary provides regular updates on race progress.  Access is available through the purchase of a Regatta Programme or by virtue of competing at the event.

In addition, we also offer refreshment facilities including a licensed bar organised by the local rowing fraternity.

School/Club Gazebos
Marked pitches are available for schools and clubs near the finish line.  Gazebos will only be permitted in the area adjacent to the Regatta Enclosure if pre-booked and pre-paid, they will not be available to book on the day.  Bookings and payments can be made via the entries secratary, see entries details.

The fee is £75 per pitch. Unfortunately we are no longer able to offer parking with gazebo pitches. Vehicular access to the pitches themselves for unloading can only be facilitated until 10am – any gazebos arriving after this time will need to be carried from the drop-off area in the car park.  Please could you ensure that you vacate your pitch by 8.30pm to allow those that have been running the Regatta to go home!
